Imposing 1937 Quarter, PR69
The Finest Certified
1937 25C PR69 NGC. The 1937 quarter saw a proof mintage of
5,542 pieces. Numerous examples have survived to the present day,
as evidenced by the several hundred coins certified by NGC and
PCGS. Most of these are concentrated in the PR63 to PR66 range.
Superb Gems can be located with some searching, but higher level
coins are nearly unobtainable.The present lot offers the single finest certified 1937 proof quarter, a PR69. Brilliant surfaces display a dusting of pastel green, orange, blue, purple, and violet colors, and are virtually pristine. Well executed design elements complement these attributes, all of which add up to imposing eye appeal.(Registry values: N4719)
