1939 25C PR68 NGC. An exceptionally well-preserved proof, one of 8,795 pieces produced and the lowest proof mintage of the series. Fully struck throughout (especially on Washington's portrait), the surfaces are immaculate and lightly iridescent. Neither PCGS nor NGC has seen a numerically finer proof.
