    Description

    1939 Washington Quarter, PR68
    Attractive Multicolor Toning

1939 25C PR68 PCGS. Ex: Michael Fuller Collection. Iridescent marigold-yellow, radish-red, and lime-green toning enriches this delightfully mirrored and intricately struck Superb Gem. Unlike most Washington quarters from the era, this specimen exhibits sharp definition on the central design elements and peripheral legends. It would be a challenge to find another specimen with equally beautiful patina. Population: 3 in 68, 0 finer (4/13).
Ex: Dallas Signature (Heritage, 11/2006), lot 774; Houston Signature (Heritage, 11/2007), lot 60936; Summer FUN Signature (Heritage, 7/2010), lot 3927.
    From The MKJ Collection, Part II.(Registry values: N1793) (NGC ID# 27HS, PCGS# 5978)
