Brilliant light gray surfaces, with predominantly golden and amber toning with some multicolor iridescent hues around the reverse peripheries, and similar toning in a crescent shape along the right side of the obverse. The coin shows considerable reflectivity with a touch of even haze. One of only 28 coins certified PR68 by NGC, and none finer certified by either PCGS or NGC.
