1940 Quarter, Top-Grade PR68
1940 25C PR68 PCGS Secure. CAC. Vibrant and attractive
rainbow toning covers half of the obverse surface area, giving this
high-grade Washington proof an arresting visual impression. Similar
toning is restricted to the peripheries of the reverse. The
surfaces are nearly perfect and pleasingly iridescent in the
lightly toned areas. The immaculate fields are deeply mirrored.
Neither grading service has certified a finer example. Population:
