Description

1941 Washington Quarter, PR68
Single Finest Certified at PCGS

1941 25C PR68 PCGS. CAC. Only 15,287 proof Washington quarters were struck in 1941, using the Variety B reverse, and this magnificent coin is one of the finest survivors. The design elements exhibit razor-sharp definition throughout, with exceptional eye appeal. The deeply reflective surfaces on this piece -- the sole finest certified at PCGS -- could pass for a looking-glass, despite the most imperceptible hints of lime, pink, and gold that appear on the obverse at certain angles. As expected of the grade, even a loupe reveals no sign of contact. Population: 1 in 68, 0 finer (4/13).
