1941 25C PR68 PCGS. CAC. The 1941 Washington quarter is not
top of mind for collectors considering the purchase of an early
proof within the series. Most opt for a first-year 1936 in high
grade, or a 1937, which will cost considerably less. But how about
purchasing one of the finest-graded 1941 proofs, with the added CAC
approval? Given the permanence of the Registry Set phenomenon, it
is a safe bet this piece will see strong bidding. Pristine surfaces
show the palest hints of rose and jade in the fields, with thorough
