Peripherally Toned
1942 25C PR68 PCGS. CAC. The 1942 proof Washington quarter,
from a mintage of 21,123 pieces, can be located with ease through
Premium Gem. PR67 coins are more difficult, and the issue is rare
any finer. Deep multicolored patination at the margins frames the
mostly brilliant centers of this PR68 example. Sharply struck
devices and impeccable preservation rounds out the outstanding eye
