1950 Quarter, PR68 Deep Cameo
Top-Grade Registry Candidate
1950 25C PR68 Deep Cameo PCGS. Razor-sharp and almost
flawlessly preserved, showing stark contrast between the frosted
devices and liquidlike fields. Each side is brilliant, adding to
the outstanding white-and-black appearance. The proof 1950 quarter
exists mainly in non-Cameo grades. Deep Cameo pieces are inherently
rare, and only two PR68 Deep Cameos are reported each at PCGS and
NGC, with none finer at either service. We have not previously
handled a Deep or Ultra Cameo coin in this grade, and the only PR67
Ultra Cameo that we handled was nearly two decades ago. Population:
