Description

1968-S 25C Repunched Mintmark, FS-501, PR68 Cameo PCGS. The 1968-S is the first proof quarter struck since 1964. FS-501 shows the mintmark repunched at the top. Most examples attributed by PCGS are non-Cameos, and this is the sole Cameo at that service (1/18). Warm golden toning accentuates stark field-device contrast, and the sharp design elements and mirrored fields are virtually flawless.
