Midgrade 1836 Reeded Edge Half, VF35
1836 50C Reeded Edge VF35 PCGS. First of an era, the 1836 Reeded Edge half dollars were the first coins minted by the new steam technology. The first steam presses at the Mint were placed into service in November 1836. This pleasing piece has bright silver-gray surfaces with hints of peripheral iridescence.
