Well Defined 1836 Reeded Edge Half, XF45
1836 50C Reeded Edge XF45 NGC. This is the scarcer of the two-year Capped Bust Reeded Edge design type with a 50 CENTS reverse. Bluish-gray patination in the fields highlights the devices, especially on the obverse, and the few scattered marks do not significantly detract. Overall, a nice well defined, Choice XF example(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 6175, GSID# 6215)
