Description
1837 50C MS61 NGC. Muted rose and gold shadings drape satiny silver-gray surfaces. Well struck with few overt abrasions. The reverse shows several interesting die cracks, two of which intersect within the shield. Requisite for type purposes since the 1836 Reeded Edge is low mintage.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24G4, PCGS# 6176, GSID# 6219)
