1837 Reeded Edge Half, MS65
Richly Toned, Sharply Struck

1837 50C MS65 NGC. The reverse is rotated nearly 90 degrees counterclockwise on this amazing Gem. Both sides have frosty silver luster hidden beneath original ivory, gold, and iridescent toning. First struck with a reeded edge in 1836, the Capped Bust design continued for just two more years into 1839. Census: 39 in 65, 10 finer (4/11).(Registry values: N4719)
