Carol II gold 100 Lei 1940 MS63 NGC, Bucharest mint, KM-XM11, Fr-17, Stamb-110. Coin Axis / Reeded Edge. Struck to commemorate the 10th year of Reign for Carol II. Obv. Bare head of Carol II right inside a circle of thorns. Rev. Crown over Royal cypher within open wreath with six small shields (Wallachia, Moldavia, Dobruja, Transylvania, Oltenia, and the House of Hohenzollern), and date below. The finest of only two pieces certified by NGC. Extremely rare.
