    Tied for the Finest Certified

1949-D 10C MS68 ★ Full Bands NGC. Vivid teal, crimson, and olive-gold toning graces the reverse periphery of this truly remarkable Superb Gem, while the obverse exhibits dappled olive and amber-gold hues around the margins. The design elements are fully defined, and the surface preservation is immaculate. This is an important opportunity for the Registry Set collector, as NGC has only certified six examples in MS68, with just five of those awarded Star designations, and none have graded numerically finer (4/14).(Registry values: P1)
