Doubled Die Reverse
1964-D 10C Doubled Die Reverse MS66 PCGS. FS-802. The
doubling on this spectacular Premium Gem is most obvious on ONE
DIME, UNITED, and the oak stem. The undertype is visible to the
right of the primary impression, indicative of FS-802. The latest
edition of the Cherrypickers Guide assigns this variety a
rarity estimate of URS-6 (17-32 known), and states the variety may
be undervalued. This specimen is sharply struck, with vibrant
luster and brilliant surfaces. Listed on page 156 of the 2011
