Elizabeth gold "St. Andrew" Ducat 1751-АПРЕЛ (April) AU Details (Damaged) NGC, Moscow mint, KM-C31.1, Bitkin-38 (R2), Fr-111. 3.46gm. A thrilling example of Russian gold Trade coinage under Elizabeth, this example featuring the St. Andrew reverse type. It is immensely rare to find original examples of this series without some sort of damage, it did not take much effort for a small, thin piece of gold like this to succumb to bends, dings, cuts, etc. while being handled. As such, most collectors must vie for representatives with "Details" notations, but the present specimen has much to offer besides its conditional qualifier. The obverse is particularly appealing, showing excellent centering and evenly defined devices.
