Mikhail I Feodorovich gold Novodel Denga (1/2 Kopeck) ND (1613-1645) MS61 NGC, Fr-36, cf. Kaim-1425/1426 (for type and weight). 0.50gm. A most curious Novodel emission that finds itself as a sort of transition between the Kopecks and Dengas noted in Kaim's reference. Featuring an obverse of Mikhail on horseback with saber one associates with the Denga, the reverse inscription used for Kopecks, and a weight in-between both, making for an unlisted combination of the three, making for a wholly enigmatic gold Novodel minor.
