Nicholas I. 1-1/2 Family Rouble 1835, obverse and reverse signed in full Р. П. УТКИНЪ (Paul Utkin), Bust of Nicholas I right/Bust of Empress Alexandra in the center, facing right, surrounded by busts of the Royal children in circles. Bit-885, Uzd-4204, Julian-1247, AU, lightly toned, wear on the highpoints, but the surfaces are quite nice, and reflective, and the overall appearance is pleasing. Exceedingly rare and the second most elusive of the Family Ruble issues. One of the true rarities of Russian numismatics with a mintage of only 36 pieces.More information about Russian Coins.
