Description

Immaculate Platinum 6 Roubles

Nicholas I platinum 6 Roubles 1830-CПБ MS67 NGC, St. Petersburg mint, KM-C178, Bit-56 (R2), Sev-600 (R), Fr-159. Produced from platinum discovered in the Ural Mountains, the legendary multiple Roubles emissions featuring this precious metal are an absolute treat to handle. Though not as special as the monumental 12 Rouble, these 6 Roubles pieces are markedly rarer than the base 3 Rouble issue. Having survived the ravages of modern Russian history unscathed, this remarkable piece is a testament to the quality of metallurgy and craftsmanship at the St. Petersburg mint during the final century of the Imperial period. The present Superb Gem specimen ranks three grade points higher than it's nearest competitor on the NGC population reports for this particular date; you would be hard-pressed to find any singular blemishes of note. This is an exemplary 6 Roubles selection, of pristine quality and unbridled beauty; it will be a pleasure to usher this piece to a new home.
