Description
Peter I Novodel Rouble 1723, Laureate bust right/Four crowned, cruciform Russian P's, with the date, Bit-H918, MS61 NGC. Superbly struck with a touch of russet toning. The surfaces have a nice gleaming iridescence with a slight pebbly reverse from being struck with rusty dies. Numerous Novodels have this appearance, as the dies were stored for many years and often not stored properly. This lot includes a copy of the authentication papers from the State Historical Museum in MoscowMore information about Russian Coins. See also: Russia World Coin Nationality.
