Peter II gold Novodel 2 Roubles 1727-Dated UNC Details (Cleaned) PCGS, KM-NK10, Bitkin-H13 (R3), Fr-104. Roubles and other silver coinage issued under Peter II are not particularly scarce, but gold coinage from this ruler is decidedly rare. Peter II, Peter the Great's grandson, died of smallpox in 1730 at the age of 14, less than three years after his succession to the throne. This Novodel specimen shows dulled brilliance from the past cleaning, but is a wonderful piece nonetheless. On only one previous occasion, prior to this sale, has Heritage offered a gold emission featuring Peter II, so this selection should thoroughly entice those specialists seeking such issues.

彼得二世時期的銀幣不論是盧布或其他面額都不甚難覓，但金幣則可遇不可求。彼得二世為彼得大帝孫子，繼位三年後便於1730年因天花駕崩，年僅十四歲。這款Novodel曾被清洗，故光芒略顯暗淡，但仍不失為出類拔萃的例子。海瑞得先前僅經手彼得二世的金幣一次，可見對收藏家而言，此幣何其吸引難得。
