Description
Peter II Rouble 1729, Moscow, Laureate bust right/Four crowned, cruciform Russian P's with two I's in the angles, Diakov-27, AU53 NGC. Superbly struck and lustrous, with just a touch of rubbing on the highpoints. By far, the finest example of this date (and so-called "fox-face" type) that we have seen.
