Description

Rare Surviving Pattern 5 Roubles

USSR copper-nickel Pattern 5 Roubles 1958 MS63 NGC, KM-YC134. Presented here is a scarcely seen Pattern type that was never officially released for circulation, with the majority of the supply being melted down. At present there are only 11 total examples on both the PCGS and NGC census, a testament to the paucity of the type. Under the right light, a gentle circular luster is revealed, making it a piece that is not only rare but also beautiful. Overall, this is an excellent opportunity to acquire an elusive pattern piece.
