Peter III was born in Kiel Germany, the son of Peter the Great's eldest surviving daughter. He spoke little Russian and had little feeling for the Russian people. He was an unpopular leader who only ruled for six months and was likely assassinated by his German wife who then ascended the Russian throne as Catherine II.

The marketing was exceptional from the photos to the ads in Civil War Times and North South Trader for the cross over people!!! I have had many emails from my Civil War collecting fraternity that saw these and I saw them at the national show in Nashville/Franklin in early December.
