    Description

Siberia. Catherine II copper Novodel 2 Kopecks 1775-KM, KM-N87, Bitkin H1115 (R2), MS66 Brown NGC. An immaculately preserved premium Gem with no visual imperfections, gleaming semi-prooflike fields and surfaces that glow with original red coloration around the devices. Traces of iridescence on both sides further adds to the appeal. Very rare as a type and especially so this nice.

Due completely to Heritage's thoroughly diligent and professional management and promotion of the collection, the faraday Collection stirred national attention among numismatists and the auction results brought a gross value greater than that last estimated by the experienced collector.
