A relic medal made from California Gold Rush Kellogg & Humbert 887 Fine gold ingots recovered from the S.S. Central America, which sank in 1857. Fully struck and flawless with exemplary cameo contrast. A California Historical Society certificate accompanies this lot, which includes all of the packaging from the original sale of these pieces.
