    '1855 Kellogg Fifty Dollar' 2001 Relic Medal
    Made from S.S.C.A. Gold Ingots, Gem Proof

    1855 $50 SSCA Relic Gold Medal "1855 Kellogg & Co. Fifty" Gem Proof PCGS. The reverse is counterstamped "STRUCK AUGUST / 21 / 2001 - C.H.S." The proof mintage for that date is 84 pieces. This 2.5-ounce round relic medal contains gold derived from unsold melted-down ingots recovered from the wreck of the S.S. Central America. No box or other marketing material accompanies the lot.
