Description

First-Year 1907 Arabic Numerals Saint-Gaudens Twenty, MS65

1907 $20 Arabic Numerals MS65 PCGS. A clean and lustrous example of this popular and somewhat scarcer first year of issue for the Saint-Gaudens double eagle design. The deep red-orange color overlays satiny, faintly granular-textured surfaces. The devices are sharply struck throughout. Almost all of the few scattered blemishes are trivial in nature, except for a small scrape in the field just below the eagle's breast. A highly attractive and impressively preserved Gem.(Registry values: N2998)
