Description
MS65 Arabic Numerals 1907 Twenty
Impressive, Strongly Struck Example
1907 $20 Arabic Numerals MS65 PCGS. The Arabic Numerals
twenty from 1907 is the result of design modifications by Charles
Barber. It was necessary to lower the coin's relief for
single-striking, commercial production. This is the first year of
this immensely popular type, and a surprising number of collectors
have even attempted (and a few have even completed) a set. This is
a lovely example that is strongly struck throughout. The lustrous
yellow-gold surfaces have a slight accent of reddish patina on each
side.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26F5, PCGS# 9141, GSID# 10132)
