Description
1907 Saint-Gaudens Twenty, MS66
Arabic Numerals Type Coin
1907 $20 MS66 PCGS. The 1907 Arabic numerals Saint-Gaudens
double eagle is a favorite date among type collectors. Of the three
No Motto low-relief issues in the series, the 1907 is the
second-most plentiful (the 1908 No Motto benefits from the Wells
Fargo Hoard), but its status as the first-year issue and its
distinctive wide rims earn it special significance. This Premium
Gem example displays shimmering peach-gold luster on both sides.
The preservation is nearly flawless, promoting strong eye appeal.
PCGS lists only 20 numerically finer specimens (12/25).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26F5, PCGS# 9141, Greysheet# 10132)
