Splendid 1908 Motto Double Eagle, Choice Uncirculated
1908 $20 Motto MS64 PCGS. The mintage of Motto 1908 double eagles is many multiples lower than that of its No Motto counterpart. Enchanting satiny luster graces the minimally marked surfaces. Pleasing yellow and gold patina complements the bold strike. The 1908 Motto twenty is elusive in higher grades.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26F8, PCGS# 9147, GSID# 10135)
