Description
Breathtaking 1908 No Motto Twenty, MS67 ★
1908 $20 No Motto MS67 ★ NGC. A breathtaking Superb Gem of this available issue, although one that is hardly common at this grade level. Both sides are expectedly free of all but the most picayune evidence of contact. But what garners this piece the coveted Star designation from NGC is likely the multicolored surfaces, which range from sage at the rims through delicate pastel orange to greenish-gold at the centers. Although undesignated as such, this coin is almost certainly from the legendary Wells Fargo hoard of thousands of high-Mint State pieces. Definitely a keeper coin at the top echelon of all survivors. From The JTR Collection.(Registry values: N4719)
