1908 $20 No Motto MS67 NGC. Although this 1908 No Motto twenty is not specifically provenanced to the Wells Fargo Nevada Hoard, it bears every hallmark of that fabled treasure trove, dispersed in the 1990s -- immaculate preservation, glorious eye appeal, and a lack of bagmarks from resting for decades unmolested (and unmoved) in bag storage. The surfaces show a hammered strike and fulsome orange-gold luster. A wonderful coin. NGC has certified only 14 in the MS68 level (12/15).(Registry values: N4719)
