Exceptional No Motto 1908 Twenty, MS67
Ex: Wells Fargo Hoard
1908 $20 No Motto, Wells Fargo Nevada MS67 PCGS. The strike
is strong throughout with full definition on the Capitol building
and on Liberty's torch hand. The mint luster is undisturbed and
displays a satiny sheen across the splendidly preserved surfaces. A
member of an amazing high-quality hoard of 1908 No Motto double
eagles that was marketed in the late 1990s under the Wells Fargo
moniker. Important as No Motto type coins, these Gem to Superb Gem
pieces have been absorbed by the coin market, and like the Carson
City GSA dollars, have risen in value in recent years since they
