1908-S $20 AU53 PCGS. The 1908-S double eagle has a famously low mintage of just 22,000 pieces, and examples are prized regardless of grade. This lightly circulated but plenty lustrous example has bold yellow-gold color. Lightly abraded in the fields with a more significant mark extending from the left obverse rim. Most wear appears on the highest design elements, such as Liberty's knee.(Registry values: N1793)
