Description

Original 1908-S Twenty, MS62

1908-S $20 MS62 PCGS. This coin's strong strike and pleasing, original appearance make this a worthwhile coin in the MS62 grade. Each side has a number of small, but individually inoffensive abrasions; collectively, though, they limit the grade of the coin. The surfaces are obviously original, and close examination shows subtle accents of rose and lilac on each side, in addition to the orange-gold color seen overall. The 1908-S twenty is an issue whose low mintage of only 22,000 pieces--the lowest regular-issue production of the entire series--makes it popular with both date and type collectors.(Registry values: N4719)
