Satiny 1909 Double Eagle, MS64
1909 $20 MS64 PCGS. The 1909 Saint-Gaudens double eagle is frequently found in lower Mint State grades, but seldom any finer than this near-Gem. PCGS has only certified 25 finer pieces. Both sides have hints of green color on the satiny yellow-gold surfaces. Traces of original ebony patina are visible on the high points.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26FB, PCGS# 9150, GSID# 10136)
