Description

1910-D Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle, MS66
Extremely Elusive Any Finer

1910-D $20 MS66 PCGS. Despite a mintage of 429,000 pieces, the 1910-D Saint-Gaudens double eagle is an elusive issue at the MS66 grade level, and finer coins are prime condition rarities. This spectacular Premium Gem exhibits exceptional quality for this date and mint, with blazing luster in the fields and a strong strike. Rich reddish-golden color decorates each side, and a couple of minor abrasions are reported in the obverse fields. PCGS has graded three numerically finer examples (12/25).(Registry values: N4719)
