1910-S $20 MS65 PCGS....
Description
1910-S Double Eagle, MS65
Few Finer Pieces Are Known
1910-S $20 MS65 PCGS. Roger Burdette writes, "Thanks to the
appearance of several hoards in the 1980s, this date is readily
available through near-Gem condition but most examples are in lower
Uncirculated grades. MS65 coins can be located with diligent
searching, but higher-grade examples are quite difficult to find.
Collectors should look for coins with crisp detail on the olive
leaves and a fully delineated torch and right hand." This Gem
Uncirculated example is sharp in all the right places and displays
radiant orange-gold color that is virtually undisturbed by marks or
abrasions. PCGS reports only 15 numerically finer examples, plus
eight pieces in 65+ (8/25).(Registry values: N4719)From The VRM Collection.
