Description
1911 Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle, MS64
Underrated Issue in High Grade
1911 $20 MS64 NGC. David Akers believes the 1911
Saint-Gaudens double eagle is an underrated issue in high grades.
Choice specimens are elusive, and NGC has graded only 55 coins in
higher numeric grades (8/10). The present coin features sharp
strike details and lustrous greenish-gold surfaces. A few minor
abrasions and luster grazes prevent a Gem grade.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26FJ, PCGS# 9157, GSID# 10138)
