Description

Pleasing 1911 Double Eagle, MS64

1911 $20 MS64 PCGS. The lustrous surfaces of this near-Gem twenty dollar display yellow-gold patination with a greenish tint. Sharp impressions characterize the design elements, which is evident in Liberty's fingers, the Capitol building, and the eagle's plumage. A handful of minute marks preclude Gem classification. PCGS has graded only 42 pieces finer.(Registry values: N2998)
