Desirable 1911 Saint, MS64
1911 $20 MS64 PCGS. The 1911 Saint-Gaudens double eagle is an important rarity in the series from a mintage of only 197,250 coins. Most of those that have survived are in lower grades, and the average certified grade of this issue is less than MS62. This piece is fully lustrous with brilliant yellow surfaces and excellent design details. PCGS has only graded 42 finer pieces (2/10)(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26FJ, PCGS# 9157, GSID# 10138)
