Wonderful Gem 1911-D Double Eagle
1911-D $20 MS65 NGC. CAC. A great wheat-gold example with uncommonly strong definition for this earlier Denver double eagle issue. In other respects, this coin is every bit the Gem, with pleasing luster and only one flaw of any significance, a rim nick just above 3 o'clock on the obverse.
