Description

1911-D $20 MS66 PCGS. FS-501, formerly FS-1911.5. Breen-7383. The mintmark is broadly repunched and the resulting variety is very dramatic. The surfaces show a rich "orange-peel" texture that is unaffected by surface imperfections. The strike is complete and the eye appeal is extraordinary, with loud claims to Superb status.
