Description

1911-S $20 MS64 NGC. All design elements are sharply detailed on this near-Gem double eagle from the San Francisco Mint, and the lustrous surfaces show minimal marks. The 1911-S is a fairly available issue and a popular choice with type collectors because of its presence in a Central American hoard that surfaced in 1983.(Registry values: N1793)
