1911-S $20 MS65 PCGS. CAC. The 1911-S double eagle is available through the near-Gem level of preservation, and even Gems can be located with a bit of searching and some patience. Higher-grade pieces are rare. The lustrous surfaces of this MS65 piece yield orange-gold and mint-green patination, and an exacting strike imparts crisp definition to the design elements.
