Description

Gem 1911-S Twenty Dollar

1911-S $20 MS65 PCGS Secure. While this San Francisco issue is readily accessible in grades through MS64, the Gem level is the "available for a price" threshold and anything finer is a condition rarity. The present MS65 coin has bold yellow-gold luster with orange overtones. The devices are well struck and minimally abraded, though shallow grazes and tiny marks are noted in the fields. PCGS has certified 26 coins finer (4/10).(Registry values: N2998)
