Lustrous 1911-S Gem Double Eagle
1911-S $20 MS65 PCGS. The 1911-S is one of the more available dates in the Saint-Gaudens double eagle series, right through the near-Gem level. MS65 pieces are obtainable with patient searching, but anything finer is much more challenging. The lustrous surfaces of this Gem display honey-gold patina and nicely defined devices.
